Yes!! I made it through the semester!! What a great experience!
Second rotation:
I loved my second rotation placement. I was in a Kindergarten class with Mrs. Paul. I was a little nervous coming from a fourth grade class which I loved. I always thought I would want to teach Kindergarten but I fell in love with my fourth graders. I knew it was going to be a completely different experience. The first day with the Kindergartners was very intimidating. It was a completely different experience and classroom. The children were so young and still seemed like babies to me. As the days passed I started to realize how much I was falling in love with these sweet little children. I had to change the teaching style I had become accustomed to. It was not to difficult for me to adapt, just a little scary. I ended up having a great semster with the Knidergartners and learned so much from them.
Semester as a whole:
I enjoyed the Quest 2 experience so much. I met some great friends that I will keep in touch with the rest of my life. I also learned so much from being in the classroom. I can not imagine going into a classroom without having been in the classroom yet. I got to experience Fourth grade and Kindergarten. They were both such a different experience. Of course, I fell in love with all of my students. I learned teaching strategies that can not be taught in our courses. It was great having the personal field experience and doing hands on activities with the students.
Growth as a Teacher:
I will continue to use all of the teaching strategies that I learned from Quest 2 in my own classroom. I will continue to keep in touch with my PLC group to talk with them about their experiences and collaborate our ideas. I am going to go into all of challenges with an open mind and continue the growth of my education.
Professional Attributes:
I learned so much over the years about professional attributes. I actually was not so sure about these attributes when I first started the program, but now they all make sense. I will continue to carry myself professionally using all of these attributes for the rest of my career.
Thank you Quest 2!!!

After Video Edit Blog
Yeah!! I finally finished editing my video! I did have a few problems before I could blog. Well... the problems with the camera situation I talked about in my last blog did cause some problems. My teacher had a hard time emailing me the video because the file was to big. Finally we figured out how to get the file and everything was fine. I edited my video on Windows Movie Maker. The program is pretty easy and pretty self explanatory. All of my video clips totaled about 20 minutes, so it was not to bad cutting it down to 5 minutes. I had a hard time deciding what parts to cut out because I thought my entire lesson seemed important. I did get the video edited and I was very happy to get it out of my hands and get it turned in. One of my last assignments of the semester and it felt great!
